These Terms govern your use of the Trapula mobile application provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries — Directorate of Fisheries. By accepting the in-app legal notice and using the App you agree to these Terms.
Trapula enables anonymous reporting of suspected illegal or irregular fishing activity to the competent authorities. It is an information tool; it does not replace emergency services. In an emergency contact the police (112).
You agree to use the App only to report activity you genuinely and in good faith believe may be unlawful, and to provide information that is true to the best of your knowledge.
You must not: submit false, misleading or malicious reports; use the App to harass, defame or target any person; upload content you have no right to share, or content that is unlawful; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the App or its servers. Knowingly submitting a false report to a public authority may constitute a criminal offence under Croatian law.
You retain any rights you have in the photos, videos and text you submit. By submitting a report you grant the Ministry a non-exclusive right to use that content for the purpose of reviewing and acting on the report and related official proceedings. You are responsible for the content you submit.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every report will be acted upon, nor that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, the Ministry is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the App, or from reliance on its content. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (linked from the App settings), which forms part of these Terms.
The App, its name "Trapula", design and content are owned by or licensed to the Ministry and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as allowed by law.
We may update these Terms and the App. Material changes are indicated by a new legal-notice version, which the App may ask you to accept again. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Croatian courts.
